Gertrude and Alice nominated for The Governor General’s Award
Thrilled to discover that our play Gertrude and Alice (written by myself and Anna Chatterton, in dramaturgical collaboration with director Karin Randoja) has been nominated for the Governor General Award for Drama! Woweeee are we honoured and humbled and pleased, especially to be included in such an illustrious list of colleagues and incredible Canadian playwrights, poets, novelists and non-fiction writers. Big thanks to our brilliant publisher Playwrights Canada Press, who helped us make such a beautiful little printed volume, and as always, thanks to Gertrude Stein and Alice B Toklas for their inspiration and so many of their brilliant words.
