Northbound: An Arctic Appreciation
Following the Women’s March tomorrow in downtown Toronto, in support of the Women’s March on Washington…I’m excited to be part of a special event: “NORTHBOUND: An evening of Arctic Appreciation.” My short film “To Live in the Age Of Melting: Northwest Passage” (Parry and Poirier) will be screening at 3:45 pm, as part of the afternoon workshop program. I’ll also be performing in the evening concert, hosted by David Newland & Uncharted Waters performing songs inspired by the Northwest Passage, with Siqiniup Qilauta / Sunsdrum, Inuit throat-singers, the Roncesvalles Gospel Choir, Blair Packham and more.
