SPIN: from City Hall to the West Coast and back…
SPIN is oiling up its chain and tuning up its wheels to hit the road, heading out to the west coast, Sept 19-26. We play on Gabriola Island (Sept 19th), Courtney (20th) and Duncan (22nd) on Vancouver Island, and Vernon (24th) and Nelson (26th) in the BC interior.
But first, we kick off a big bike rally at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto this Sunday Sept 14th, at 2 pm. BIKESTOCK 2014! A chance to tell the city to put bikes and bike infrastructure on the agenda for the upcoming municipal election.
And THEN…SPIN is thrilled to be return to Buddies in Bad Times Theatre for a limited week-long run in the main space, November 19-23.
One of the fun things for me about this show, which has now been touring the continent for 3 1/2 years, is that it keeps changing and evolving. In the works for the Buddies remount is an all-new string trio playing all-new string arrangements…more news about that real soon.
In the meantime, hope to see some of you out west this September!
