SPIN nominated for CFMA!
Lovely news yesterday, which is that the SPIN cd has been nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award, in the “Pushing the Boundaries” category. We are in very good company, with New Country Rehab, Jaron Freeman Fox, Twilight Hotel, Ruth Moody and Geoff Berner as fellow nominees: all fantastic bands / musical innovators.  Keep your fingers crossed for us on Dec 4th, when the awards are handed out, this year in Toronto.
Tomorrow, Brad and I are off to Edmonton with the bicycle, appearing at Alberta Showcase on Saturday, and first, on Friday night as part of Edmonton’s Exposure Festival.
