So it’s my last week here at Haverford College as Friend in Residence. I have had a pretty amazing two weeks so far, with many opportunities to meet and talk to students and faculty, lead workshops, speak to classes, perform my work for students and Quaker groups in the area, and attend a wide and amazing variety of talks and events on campus.Here’s what’s on my (full!) schedule for the coming week… come join me!
Monday March 31
Dinner with the President (of Haverford College) (should i wear a tie?)
Tuesday April 1:
11:30 – 1 pm Guest Lecture in Emma Lapasanky’s Quaker History class, Chase Auditorium
7- 10 pm Available for conversation at the Campus Women’s Center
Thursday April 3:
4-6 pm Talk at Bryn Mawr College as part of LGBTQI History Month, Dalton 212E
“Being Gertrude and Alice”
Excerpts and reflections on the creation of a new play exploring the lives, love and legacy of Gertrude Stein and Alice B Toklas.
10-11 pm, Guest at SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance) Jones Basement
Friday April 4th
7:30-9:30 “From Outrage to Creation”, Songwriting / spokenword workshop, MCC
all are welcome, no musical or songwriting experience necessary
Saturday April 5th
